It all began as a personal effort by the founder, Samuel Akinbodunse, to ease the burden that widows, single mothers, unemployed youths face; and the tears of joy and appreciation that followed.

It became clear that the things we take for granted are luxuries to others.

 

Thenceforth, the vision was birthed to reach more and more widows and women and young people who want to go to school. The Samuel Akinbodunse Foundation spends an average of one million Rand annually to support widows, on scholarships for indigent pupils and students, and donations to orphanages.
